What to watch:

Which Wizards team shows up?

Will it be the one that lost to a struggling Heat team on Monday or the team that came back from 10 down and held on to beat the Hornets on Wednesday? The Wizards victory on Wednesday was the fourth time in which they came back from trailing by double digits. It seemingly also helps that tonight’s game is a home game. The Wizards have won three straight games at Verizon Center, including four of their last five. Tonight’s contest is the second of three home games with the Clippers coming to town on Sunday.

Key Matchup:

Marcin Gortat vs. Andre Drummond

While people were ooing and ahhing over John Wall’s performance and passing the franchise record for steals, Marcin Gortat contributed the other night in the win with 16 points and 12 rebounds, his 13th double-double of the season. Tonight is a big test for the Polish Hammer as he faces Drummond, who is second in the league in rebounding.

X-Factor:

House of Guards

John Wall and Bradley Beal combined for 45 points on Wednesday night against Charlotte. As always, they will need another solid performance if the Wizards want to have a chance to beat a team that’s currently occupying the seventh spot in the Eastern Conference.

Fun Factor:

It’s #SocialMediaNight! Here’s hoping those in attendance will have good things to tweet about, but also pay more attention to the game than their phones. The team avoiding a #SoWizards scenario would help too.

Prediction:

The Wizards team that shows up tonight will be the ones who won the other day. Whether it’ll be a comeback win or a down to the wire hang-on win or a clean 48 minute game remains to be seen.
