What’s more appropriate for a gathering of fans to watch a basketball game in communion than a potential series-clinching Game 5 for the Wizards against the Chicago Bulls in the first round of the playoffs?

Okay sure, maybe a Wizards Game 7 in the Finals but since we’re not exactly there yet, you should swing by Public Bar tonight located in DuPont Circle for some good old #WizardsNation comradery hosted by the finest Wizards bloggers.

Join Truth About It, Bullets Forever, and WizardsXtra and enjoy the game on one of the city’s largest TV projector screens while mingling with other fellow #WizardsTwitter contingents and die-hard fans.

Here are the details, per the event coordinator, Adam McGinnis of TAI:

Who.

Fans of the Washington Wizards along with pixel makers
from Truth About It, Bullets Forever, Wizards Xtra, and Hoop District.
Anyone who wants to root against Chicago
or jump on the Wiz bandwagon
and, of course, all Merkins.

When.

Tuesday, April 29
8 p.m. EDT start time

Where.

Public Bar
(Dupont Circle Location)
1214 B 18th St NW
Washington, D.C.

Twitter: @PUBLICBAR

The bar is next to the Shake Shack on 18th ST NW and Connecticut Ave.
Walk up a flight of stairs upon entry and the bar is on first main floor.

Metro Stop: Between Farragut Square and Dupont Circle on the Red Line.

Drink/Food Specials: (all evening)
$3 Miller Lites, $3 Yuenglings,
$5 Vodka Red Bulls, $5 tacos

Pre-game happy hour from 4-8 p.m.:
$3 and $4 beers, $5 rail drinks

For your convenience, here are some celebratory dance choices in the event the Wizards beat the Bulls tonight and advance to the semi’s.

Kill ’em with the Terio dance.

Honor John Wall’s first playoff series win with some classic Dougie moves.

My personal favorite: the Nae Nae dance (dunk contest winning jam optional).
